The annual SSI User Conference happens October 28-30, 2026 at the Hilton at Polaris in Columbus, OH. It's 3 days of learning, networking, and opportunities to connect directly with over 275 public sector leaders and employees.

Call for Sessions Guide

By submitting a session, you are committing to the following if your presentation is chosen for SSI Impact Conference:
-For authentication purposes, prospective speakers must submit their own session entries. Do not submit on behalf of others.
-Only 3 submissions are allowed per speaker for the event.
-Maximum of 4 speakers or panelists per session submission.
-Your content must be educational (not directly promotional, though a reference here and there is fine). 

Sessions include panel discussions, workshops, lectures, and breakout sessions. Sessions are typically 30, 45, 60, or 75 minutes long and should focus on delivering practical takeaways, real stories, or forward-thinking ideas on topics like:

  • -Leadership or organizational change

  • -Innovation in finance, HR, or operations

  • -Training, communication, and team development

  • -Civic tech trends, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation

  • -Personal growth, motivation, or time management

  • -Case studies, academic research, or lessons learned from real-world experiences

  • -VIP Software tips, tricks, lessons, and experiences

  • -Accounting, payroll, budgeting, utility billing, accounts payable, data analytics

  • -Local government law and regulations

  • -Strategic planning and municipality management 

We’re especially interested in hands-on, interactive, or story-driven content—sessions that energize and equip.

Sessions are typically 30, 45, 60, or 75 minutes long and should focus on delivering practical takeaways, real stories, or forward-thinking ideas. Please tell us the desired length of your session in the form.

 

Preparing to Submit

To get started, there are 3 things that you should consider before submitting your proposal:

1. What would our public sector audience gain from your session?
2. What are your goals for the session?
3. Is your session relatable to people who work in the public sector?

***All accepted speakers must submit their slides and handout materials before the event. If you fail to do so by 7/1/2025, the session will be canceled.***

By applying to speak at the SSI Impact Conference, you:

  • 1. are permitting us to publish quotations from your session in any form of media or manner. 
    2. consent to Software Solutions, Inc. (SSI) using your likeness in photographs publicly for marketing purposes on banners, websites, posters, social media, and other print and digital media.
    3. are consenting to follow this code of conduct:
    • -Be respectful of all attendees, co-speakers, SSI staff, and sponsors—regardless of background, title, or viewpoint.
      -Avoid sales pitches during your presentation. Sessions should be educational, not promotional. Sharing ideas and experiences is encouraged; selling products is not.
      -Deliver your presentation and handouts on time and as described in your session abstract.
      -Maintain professionalism in your speech, tone, visuals, and content.
      -Honor time limits and allow space for audience engagement when appropriate.
      -Avoid religious and political speech during your session. 
      -Represent SSI and the conference in a way that supports our values of care, ownership, and passion for customer success.

 

Cancellation Policy

Please email marketing@mysoftwaresolutions.com before 8/1/2025 to cancel your planned session. If you have to cancel after that date, no expenses will be refunded.

Software Solutions is under no obligation to award a speaking engagement to those who submit this form. If chosen to be a speaker, host, or panelist, you will be contacted by a Software Solutions representative.
